Web design

For more than 10 years I have been building websites as a freelancer. My clients are mostly small and medium-sized businesses.

I build the websites with Open Source content management systems, such as WordPress or Joomla. Such a CMS offers many expansion options, such as a webshop, e-newsletter system, customer portal, online booking system and the like. Moreover, with a CMS you can easily maintain the texts and images yourself.

With an eye for detail I build websites and webshops that perfectly match the right identity. For the graphic design of a logo, brand identity, corporate identity, website, apps, brochures and much more, I would like to refer you to the graphic designer that I like to work with, Marcia Teeuwen. With over 20 years of experience (art school in 2000 and her own company since 2005) and a genuine interest in the customer, she always knows how to exceed expectations.

Besides being a web designer, I am also an Online Marketing Specialist. I take that knowledge with me in building a website that not only looks good, but is also easy to find in search engines. I have done a lot of research into the right combination of templates, plugins and server settings to make the site rank optimally in Google. I always try to find the right balance between a graphically beautiful site, good security, user-friendliness and especially loading speed. Everything with a focus on conversions. After all, that’s what it’s all about: the number of people who contact you or order through your website.

After 10 years of building websites, I have now developed a systematic approach and elaborated it in a step-by-step plan. By working as effectively as possible, costs can also be better controlled. Moreover, the collaboration is streamlined and that works so well.

Internet technology changes quickly and maintenance is always important to keep up with the latest developments. I am happy to take care of that for you. It is of course also possible that I only take care of the technical maintenance for you and give a training if you want to keep as much under your own management as possible.
