Skippered Yacht charter in Croatia

Dalmatia in Croatia is one of the most beautiful sailing areas in Europe. We start from Split or Trogir and sail to other historic towns, such as Sibinek or Zadar. The Kornati Islands, consisting of countless small islands, offer countless anchor bays where we can look for peace and quiet. The average wind in May – September is on average 7 to 8 knots and the chance on wind 4Bft+ is around 20%. On the other hand there is a chance of extremely strong winds when the Bora or the Jugo starts blowing. The Bora is a dry cold wind from the mountains in the North. The Jugo is the warm, moist wind from the south. The average temperature in the summer is 22 – 29 degrees. The port dues in the luxury ports are expensive, but the ports have luxury facilities. The local menu includes large mussels, dried hams, fish dishes, black risotto and the liqueur Rakija. In addition to sailing, we can swim in the Krka waterfalls, hiking and snorkeling.

The nearest airport is Split. The transfer from Split Airport to the port is 24 km, or 30 minutes by taxi.

We can visit ports such as: Split, Hvar, Trogir, Sibinek, Zadar and the Kornati Islands.

If you would book a yacht through me and hire me as your charter skipper or sailing instructor, you can enjoy your sailing holiday in a safer and more relaxed way and for those who wish: improve their sailing skills and knowledge.
