Sailing on the Waddenzee

The Wadden Sea is very suitable for really learning how to sail. The Wadden are very challenging, with a lot of current, busy traffic, shallow waters, sandbanks, etc. For the real sailor, wind is more important than temperature, so when it comes to sailing, the Netherlands is actually perfect. Moreover, this sailing area has more to offer than you would expect in terms of natural beauty.
Texel, Vlieland and Terschelling are beautiful islands to sail to. In good weather it is possible to take a trip over the North Sea. In very bad weather, the IJsselmeer offers sheltered water, so that we can continue sailing even in strong winds.

If you would book a yacht through me and hire me as your charter skipper or sailing instructor, you can enjoy your sailing holiday in a safer and more relaxed way and for those who wish: improve their sailing skills and knowledge.
