Hello, my name is Elmar Teeuwen. I am Dutch, living in Italy together with my partner in the same town as my Italian son. I have been working as an entrepreneur in the yachting industry for more than two decades. I am fluent in Dutch and English and speak Italian and German on Intermediate level. Besides sailing, I love skiing and running. As an offshore sailing instructor, charter- and regatta skipper, I have over two decades of experience at sea in Northwestern Europe, the Mediterranean and Caribbean, mostly on sailing yachts up to 18 meter, as well as several large catamarans and twin screw motor yachts. I am a RYA/MCA Yachtmaster® Offshore with commercial endorsement, RYA/MCA Cruising Instructor Sail and RYA/MCA Shorebased instructor.
